Art Quilts at the Oregon State Fair
August 27-September 6
Regular Fair Hours

Art quilters from around Oregon were invited to create their impression of a tree in fiber. The vision of the exhibit is to have many Quilted Trees hanging from the ceiling where visitors can walk among the art work as if they were walking though a quilted forest!

Each piece is approximately 20 inches wide x 8 feet tall. Imaginative artists have created visions of trees that are literal, figurative, inspired, interpretive and stylized! Well known art quilters have work in the exhibit: Jean Wells Keenan, June Jaeger, Vivienne Moore, Maureen Erhardt & more.

Through September 11

“Women’s Voices” emphasizes the creativity of quilt makers, our show will also demonstrate many of the other ways that women express themselves. There is no charge to enter a quilt in the WSQ annual show and our Guild is one of the few that welcomes non-members who wish to enter a quilt. That is what makes this show so great! All quilt entries are welcome. The entry form may be completed online at our website .
